I heard big Wes was told he was playing ressies this week, so he cracked the shits and walked out..
I hope this is false, but if this is true Wes needs to grow up and take a good look at himself.

Yep if he has walked out then give him a clearance tomorrow as that is poor form, but I hope it isn’t true
Surely not true. He has been out for a few weeks and young Lobb has been doing very well so would expect to come back through the 2’s. Wes looks to be a wholehearted contributor and team man, surely he was just not right to play yet.
I hope so! I didn’t see Wes at the game and he has been present at the others, providing advice to Lobby.
I suppose someone fron Swans will confirm this rumour as true or false!
Seen on sportingpulse Lammie’s pending clearance to South Bunbury.
What a flogger he is then!! Cut off date for clearances was yesterday so will be interesting.
This matter is just one of a long list that shows the playing culture is not right down there!!
Wes is definitely not a flogger, just one mor player driven away by sometng
That is very disappointing and possibly fatal to Swans finals hopes if he has left the club. Without Wes its really just a makeshift ruck set up to be honest. Does Percy Johnson still do a Monday morning spot on 91.3 and if so did anyone hear it. Percy was quite close to Wes and he may be able to give some insight into why he has left?
is the playing or the coaching culture???
Both!!
Wes still seems to be on your list.

DF, how you feeling about this week’s game. Surely you must be starting to dream just a little. No matter how hard I try I can’t begrudge the Demons a little September action however to do so at Swannies expense is incomprehensible…some sort of game looming this weekend for both teams.
DW, the game is must for us if we are serious.
Looking forward to visit and to beating Swannies by more than just a few points this time.
Don’t want the umpies being the excuse this time.
Yes, we dare to dream, win this week and maybe just maybe the DEES will play finals this year, and I can get the scarf out of mothballs.

At the risk of sounding a tad cheeky I thought you blokes blamed ‘yellow’ footy last time round. Both games between the 2 clubs this season have been a pleasure to be at so I’m flicking the ammo duties this week and will be heading down to watch what I hope will be a lot better match than the lacklustre SD v WP game of last week. Let’s hope both clubs bring their A games and we get to see some cracking WAFL footy. With so much on the line for both teams anything less will be a disappointment. That and the possibility that someone will fill in Kyle Reimers (its an Essendon thing) has me chomping at the bit
They would need to catch him first.
Kyle’s a tad quicker than you might think.
Haha…must be something in them coloured boots he can’t resist wearing.
Won’t name the player but from behind the dugout during the 2nd qtr of the last game at Brownes stadium I half-heartedly offered one of the SD boys a quick $500 to go out and fill in Kyle, said player just looked up from the exercise bike and with a wry smile said ‘nah, I’ll do it for free’…i’m still waiting ![]()
I hope he has a day out and kicks 6 goals.
That might see us kick ass.

If Wes has spat the dummy after being told to have a run in the Reserves after being out for 4 weeks with a leg fracture then that beggars belief!
He obviously has an over inflated opinion of his own ability if he thinks he is above playing in the 2’s let me tell you as the likes of Twomey, Blight, Casserley, Stack, Grover, McDougall, Salacic, Tunbridge, Peake et al have all played Ressies football during the season & all but Salacic who was the State Captain a few years back has played AFL footy!
Get your ass back to Basso Wes & have a run in the 2’s to prove your fitness otherwise if you think you are above that then see ya later!

Well said BH…nobody is bigger than the club
BH, just out of sick interest, in a hypothethical world, if you had to choose between Simon Beasley or Brent Hutton in their prime as your full forward who would you go for???
