On a day that was more for ducks or swimming trails the Dockers boys were superb.Full credit to the way they held it all together after the Crows challenged them in the last quarter.
I am full of praise for guys like Nick Suban and Matt deBoer who were constantly at the bottom of packs feeding the ball out or locking it in to out advantage.
we had many good players a great team effort.I guess the only one not to contribute was Jack Hannath. But obviously he is not a wet weather player.
Our mids were superb,Barlow Mundy Fyfe Hill and the list goes on.
The back line was good all day.Hardly noticed McPharlin but he was a rock down there,as was Ibbotson.Johnson Duffield and Spurr maintained the pressure all day. Spurr has come along in leaps and bounds this season.A true find.
The pressure applied by the forwards was very good.Mayne and Ballantyne never stopped running and tackling the whole day.
The club is in a good position now to make a full on run for the top two. With Pavlich and Walters due back the week after the bye then things look rosie.
Not that long ago people were critising Chris Bond for selecting a heap of mid range players, glad he did because our midfield depth now is fantastic which seems to overide the need for dominant tall ruckmen as is evidenced with West Coast dominating the ruck contests but getting smashed by a more efficient and faster Tigers midfield. Bondy knew what he was doing.
Another great win against the odds. To beat Adelaide over there who are travelling ok is huge before the bye. Plenty to look forward to after the bye. I don’t think Sandilands will be a walk up start, he will spend a couple of weeks in the WAFL i think.
I thinkSandi is a “yesterdays player”. I do believe the dockers are travellin ok, and duly tipped em against a terrible inconsistant Adeliade side. Dockers will be top 4
Chances are Sandilands will come back via the WAFL.Do Perth play Ef this weekend or soon maybe the two brothers will battle in the WAFL.
   ..so you think big Aaron is likely to play in the WAFL Reserves or B Grade Ammos do you anchor??
Who know BH,maybe he will have to work his way back into the league side.He has been out a long time.
He came straight back in after his turf toe, so i presume he will do the same didn’t seem to affect his second half of the year, he played quite well from memory.
Guess we will just have to wait and see where he makes his reappearance wont we!!
Their remaining 12 games are

North Melbourne

Adelaide

Port Adelaide
Away
Geelong
West Coast
Richmond
Carlton
Melbourne
St Kilda
On current form you would give them all the home games as well as at least 4 of the 6 away games so if they can manage to keep up their intensity they will be certain top 4 and even a chance for top 2 given that draw
Compare Freos draw with West Coast
West Coasts remaining 12 games are

Essendon
Fremantle

Gold Coast

St Kilda
Hawthorn

Western Bulldogs

Collingwood
That is one tough draw!
On current form the Eagles will be struggling to win more than 3 or 4 or these IMO. They will need to find 7 wins out of this lot to even make the top 8. Pushing it uphill I think
