Not sure but I would suggest a few posters got out of hand.
I got on there first thing this morning(early) and there wasnt anything untoward,unless something was posted and then was deleted by the admin??
If posters had got out of hand wouldnt it be easier to delete there accounts than shut down the forum?
So with the official wafl one gone, and footygoss to bite the dust, who’s left?

Wonder if it is for updates.Or maybe as someone suggested there has been some postings that have got out of hand.It has happened before.
But now that the WAFL have their own mods, and not some that post there, suggests it might be something serious.
I hope it doesn’t close as it is another site to let our feeling known.Or our points of view expressed.
sadly all that in house Perth bitching got a bit too much in the end…really that site was an unofficial Perth Footy Club forum…pity that, because Bensti is a class act and provided some really good info.

I think you are right about what has happened Freeze.
I know one of the guys who was a former mod there does cause some grief for the WAFL admin.
I had a few occassions to get the WAFL to sort him out.He tried to run the site like it was his own and didn’t like others having a differing opinion to his and was deleting post for no reason.
A sad day if it doen’t come back.
They will all end up on here as most already are here.
That was a crap forum anyway, it was mostly Perth supporters that posted on there with a sprinkle of others..

Yes stinga is good, hope he comes on here. All that work he did on the ins & outs of all clubs was a waste of his time.

Still, they sorted him out! I gave up on the site ages ago as I thought it was a little purple circle and debate was contained and constrained. Having said that, I hope it does open up again, it suited some people and competition is always good.
There’s not even a forum heading on the home page now…gone for good i’d say.

If that is true then it is really really sad that you can’t have an open and honest discussion with other people, providing it doesn’t become nasty.
Don’t know how true it is but I heard that it was an extensive makeover of the site.
Although I wouldn’t have thought that would take all that long.
So it may have been all the abuse being thrashed around by a few. 
Oops that rumour I heard is way off.
Just saw a message on WAFL ONline which says it is closed permanently.
That’s a shame as I thought it was a great site.
