I don’t have any super either, but my liquidity got a big boost at Randwick last Saturday.

[quote=“BC post=240910 userid=892”]Gee Baz. I thought you of all people on here would have read the tea leaves and restructured your super to reduce anything volatile like shares.

I did before he was inaugurated and am now only 15% exposed to international and local stocks but may ratchet it up a bit once the dust settles. Gold and cash were always going to be the go to with this moron off the leash.

Good idea if you are in pension phase BC - I still have a couple of years in accumulation phase, but yeah its looking like a move on the cards - a sugar hit when he pushes through his bs tax cuts make a move before he brings on a Trumpcession.

Yeah but you’ve always got the Perth Demons and the Orange Mussolini to live on DD.

Just reading some of the posts from our Strumpet leaning friends on here, it almost reminds me of a cult where followers give their leader almost God-like status and total devotion, and continue to reconcile his/her stupidity as part of a bigger picture or plan.

It was the same with David Koresh and Branch Davidian in Waco Texas, Jim Jones in Jonestown Guyana, Charles Manson in LA and you could also wrap Scientology and L Ron Hubbard into that cohort as well. It’s no coincidence they’re all American as the yanks have pathological desire to be a part of something be it a sporting team, religion or political movement.

It’s become apparent to me Strumpet’s most devoted supporters fall into that cult category when you see vision of people lining up for hours in their hats, T-shirts, flags and other Strumpet paraphernalia to hear him speak and also wilting at the knees when he takes the stage.

They also give unconditional support to the leader’s most ridiculous of whims and philosophies.

The only good thing about that is it doesn’t last forever and invariably ends in tears but in the interim, the rest of us have to stand back, let it take its course then pick up the pieces when it’s over.

Do you reckon he will change the constitution to allow him to do a third term, or do you reckon he will change to constitution to reflect you don’t have to be born in the USA to allow his musk stick mate to be the next president?

I can’t see the Constitution changing PH as even though the SC is split 4/3 with Strumpet loyalists, the Constitution is sacrosanct to the yanks. What I can see is His Orangeness endorsing one of his own for the 48th President and given Musk is as unhinged as he is, reckon it’ll be his son Junior who gets the nod.

Junior will be 51 when the time comes (JFK was only 43 when elected), would have been in the political system one way or another for 12 years and it will mean another Donald Trump by name in the WH which will appeal to Senior.

Apparently, the Yanks, because of the exorbitant price of eggs, due to the outbreak of bird flu, where the dumb dipshits sacked researchers working on curbing the flu,has forced consumers to rent chickensand raise them themselves to save a bit of coin!!!Also the Orange Imbecile in Chief is now delaying the25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico’s auto industry for 1 month, which is further proof that fuckin idiot has got no idea what he’s doing.

His dictatorship will be well set by then. He will try, he keeps mentioning it.as a joke. And you know the stupid part about it, the Septics will vote him for another term
An inch and we would not be talking about it.

What constution are you talking about. He has messed with it already.
The thing that surprises me is that the Democrats sat rhough his 100 minute rant the other day.
Only one, Al Green, was prepared to stand up to him.
The rest sat, waved ping pong bats with inane comments on them
Why did they not stand up, turn their backs to him , and sing Star Spangled banner,
A very weak lot.

The same Constitution where the Supreme Court sided with a lower court and ordered his administration to unfreeze foreign aid.

Four Republican-appointed justices sided with the Trump administration, and three Democrat-appointed justices voted against it.

But two Republican appointees, Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Amy Coney Barrett, joined their more progressive colleagues to deliver Trump a defeat.

Perhaps it that thing we seemed to have a lost of late, respect for the place they were in and process they work within. Also remember that it is the pace that the republicans disrespected after the last election in the US.

Second time in a month Orange Man has back tracked on his doopey tariff plan, Dow in free fall, ASX taking a hammering, and Nasdaq now in correction territory, almost like he is shorting the market so Don Jun. can insider trade.

You gotta laugh at the GOP, they booted Green out and now today voted on a sanction and had a cry because some Dems didnt sanction Green… this is the mob that pardoned the Jan 6 rioters that trashed the joint and beat up cops, cant make this crap up…

I reckon they will have a go at extending the term I say that now but Trump could well be massive liability by then.

Musk cannot run, the constitution says the president must be born in the US.

Another thing I reckon they will do is try suspending the mid terms, for next year.

Numbnuts claimed it was due to his likely incumbency when there was an upward spike in the last few months of the Biden administration,so now that it is plummeting he is now laying the blame on Sleepy Joe

Another big wipeout on Wall Street last night, on the back of the Trumpcession, his commerce secretary says there will be no recesession but Trump reckons he cant rule it out. Lets be honest these zombies don’t have a clue, how are Tesla shares going…???

One thing I know is everyones 401K and retirement savings are worth less now prices are going up and a are poorer now than they were under Biden. Same applies here with Super.
