Embley must go for his dog act of jumping onto the Hawks players chest as he was laying on the ground.
Petrie for eye gouging on Zac Clarke.Though Clarke got up and ran to where the pl;ay was after the incodent.But will be looked at I am sure.Harvey for his High contact on Crowley.The Boomer should be looking at hanging the boots up I reckon.He has become an angry old man.He does not have the pace to get away any more.Father time comes on very quickly.
Also two incidents in the Melb v StKilda game which will surely be a couple, hit on Chris dawes (punch to the neck/chin) and also the hit on McEvoy (dangerous bump to the head/neck).
Didnt see the Petrie or Harvey incidents, but they will be big losses for NM. I dont think Harvey should retire, he is the first one tagged in his team, which shows he has a lot more to offer than…well…anyone else in his team. Maybe that shows the lack of gamebreakers/damaging players at North, but I think he is a great player, still has his pace and can win games off his own back. Crowley has got the better of nearly everyone he is tagged, but all of them shouldnt retire, neither should Boomer.
Ithink Boomer has lost the ability to influence games at the moment.But as you say that is an indictment on the side he plays for at the moment.They seem to just meander through games.Where are players like Thomas Petrie, Wells when they need to stand up along side Boomer.They are well experienced players who should be influencing games off their own boot.
What has happened to all their good kids!!They have some good ones,Swallow,Bastinac,Cunnington,they should be showing something to lift t he side by now.A ruddeless ship right now.
surely clarke on petrie has to be looked at. Not surprised Petrie did what he did with a clown grinding his elbow against his face. High contact, intentional … Petrie couldn’t even see what he was doing so his will be classed as reckless I would think.
maybe it will be Viper,who knows.But eye gouging is another Dog act.The AFL frown on it.Not sure there was much in the issue you talk about,but maybe looked at.Just two guys wrestling.

Petrie due to clarke grinding his forearm across the guys had which as I said meant Petrie couldn’t see what he was doing.
Harvey got nothing.
Simpkin, johnson, embley and Spencer from Melbourne were all given penalties.
