Wasn’t expecting Sok to retire, he isn’t that old and played state football only months ago. He usually gets the opposition’s best defender too, not anymore. Best of luck to the trio. A lot of work to be done to be anywhere near the mark again in the near future, even if all of the injured players do manage to front up and play well next year
This being the SportFM match of the day I am led to believe. Certainly a good game to broadcast. A lot could hinge on the result
I suppose BC that I hope the brown paper baggers knock off the hand baggers, so Souths can play finals footy, but then again, I would love to see the hand baggers lose another final, that will hurt them more. Anyway, I hope they beat the living shit out of each other.
I take it Winger that Subi are the brown paper baggers. First of all that was the domain of Cicco at Souths. Second, we are one of the few clubs that haven’t been caught out paying outside the salary cap. Thirdly, you jerkers could pay your players with cash in a brown paper bag but it would only contain a few coins given your going rate is 4 cents in the dollar.
so what about the White Goods saga Randall got you off from mate?
and it was Cicco himself who came out with the paper bags comment yonks ago
White goods just don’t cost that much.
Anyway, great farewell at the club today. Wardman spoke very well. Kitch, Gus and Sokal go down as 3 greats of the club. Jacob landsmere did a top job interviewing all 3 at the morning tea.
Claremont a smokey for the premiership. Subi need to get out the white goods cause we need some players.
About right where we are at, about 10 goals off fighting for a top 5 spot. Loved how little Champion showed a bit of mongrel helping his teammate out dropping that hand bagger, costly but good. Pity he won’t be around next year
