I thought we played quite poorly against Swans and improved significantly against Perth. Several new players so it will take time to play our best football. To predict where we finish is guess work at best until we play a team that is any good. And yes with players like AJ and Dobson gone the intensity and attitude of the squad can only improve.
Game plan has barely altered, players with the ability to execute has,at least a rival supporter has some clue,
Royal 2019,just a hypothetical,do you reckon if every club adopted the same game plan, all 10 teams would finish level on points at the end of the home and away???
Game plans are for shit teams Lucky. Good teams and players adapt and win in any style. You need the cattle and we are getting there in that regard.

Not just my opinion only but we are not kicking backwards and sideways in the baclkline as much.might not have been part of a game plan but maybe the coach has finally got the message thru to the players. Also think they are taking on the corridor a bit more

And therein is why I am reluctant to comment anymore, you have an inability to accept a different view of the world.
The revelation that game plans are for shit teams obviously comes from someone who knows absolutely nothing abt football or sport in general, methinks it is abt time I got banned for life.

BANG ON CHADDY!
Two of the worst offenders for kicking backwards have retired, I will be watching with interest to see if this style holds up against quality opposition, but so far very encouraging

Having Stan Wright plus Msando in the backline means we have two guys who have good kicking skills. To think that some thought that Stan might struggle to make the league team.

His days as a midfielder were numbered thats why he has been reinvented as a backman, although i thought he might be used as a specialist crumbing forward, but the coaching panel have gone the ‘‘RIGHT’’ direction.
Royal2019, I am interested in your comment about Dobson and AJ.
If AJ is not up to your required standards in culture.
It seems that Taylor and Narrier meet them.
Is there a contradiction there?
AJ was ok when he would come to training. I think the time for that rubbish is over at East Perth. We are fast becoming irrelevant so time to get professional and competitive or fold. The chances of Narrier and Taylor becoming stable committed footballers perhaps you may know more than me. They deserve a chance like anyone but from your tone I take it not to expect much. We must improve the culture at East Perth poor training standards and performance is a cancer.
I think a culture change at Lathlain maybe the reason we were prepared to trade Taylor.
Narrier was not in our best 25.
I rate Taylor so lots of luck.
luck.from what I see AJ will bring a bit.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed Royal, but the days of bad training standards are over, and if your a troublemaker your O U T!
AJ is capable of high level play no doubt will help at times. If he comes to training and stays fit is not the worst ruckman in the league. He quit the club mid season even though he was getting games so a fresh start is best for all. Yes Lucky it’s the only way at this level we have to be more professional to compete with the better clubs.
