Swans V East Perth Bassendean

Looking forward to this one. A sunny day forecast and should be a good contest as matches between these two sides always seem to be. Swans are coming off their best win of the season at Shark Park whilst the Royals will be keen to get back on track after a couple of losses.
From Swans point of view, they will be hoping to bring the same intensity and pressure that they showed against EF last week. Jones will be a problem as always and Yukich may get a gig this week as he seems to be the only guy capable of giving him a physical contest at centre bounces.
I sense that East Perth may be a little bit too strong in the end but hopefully the boys push them all the way and keep working for an upset victory

This game could be a big one for more reason than just the 4 points.

Ah now I understand your comment BH. I was scratching my head earlier

Firstly thank you Tony for giving your heart and soul for our footy club for the best part of 20 years.
You have been nothing short of inspirational with your courage, high marking and commitment.
Enjoy retirement champ you deserve only the best.

Now to his teammates…
Nothing short of inept today, barely gave a yelp for a club legend and I for one walked away in disgust at the lack of effort for a bloke that his given everything for his club and teammates!
The coaching mirrored that!

After last week, i thought Swans would have put in a better performance. Only managing 2 goals in the first half let them down. Had the opposition kicked one more goal in the match, Swans would have had lost by double the score. Lets hope the team works hard for the remainder of the season and prepares for 2026. A disappointing way for Notte to bow out in his final Wafl match.
