Swans won the reserves flag in 2023. After an uptick in 2024, the league team has had 2 disappointing seasons since. So yes, reserves success doesnt automatically guarantee success at league level
It depends on the age demographic of your Reserves side.
Our current 2026 one is pretty young, a lot of Colts boys from the previous couple of seasons and current one (Harvey, Cotellessa, B.Kelly, Cathcart, Reiger, Matson, Cummings, Andrews, Martinson, Zolnier-Owens, F.Taylor, Murdoch, Rullo, Feast, Hansen, Yarran, W.Smith, Debono, Hall, Hrabar, Bain, Oliver, Callcott etc) but they have been forced to play them due to the current long injury list of the senior squad (25 & counting) that I posted before which may be more beneficial in the long run….hopefully!
