Stay tuned for Kevin Taylor on Where are they Now?

Yes and I would concur to a well written article. Great to read about the players we all followed.

Great article dog - long time coming, but well worth the wait. Congrats on a job well done.

Thanks a lot fellas i appreciate it, i put a bit of effort into it and Kevin was kind enough to give me his time

Great read SD…well done!!!

Squizzy was one of only a few idols I had. I have a blown up print of his infamous derby mark at EF oval on top of Joe McKay and a few others. Best mark I have ever seen.

Well done, Swan.

Thanks mate, how do we get this up where it belings with your Where are they now articles? Ive pumped up this section to a lot of people including Dennis Commeti, who was very interested and took copies of my Taylor and Vasoli articles home to read, he also said he could toss some names my way..im disappointed that admin seem to be asleep atm

Yeh i was talking about that grab to someone last week! It was on the back page the next day

Yep, my apologies … have been sleeping … I really don’t know how I have missed this (must have been a topic flying under the radar as no one clicked the “report to moderator” button.

Did you try sending a PM? If so I need to look into why They aren’t receiving. The surest way to get hold of me is to email

oldtorana @ g mail (dot) com

I’m sure you blokes will work out to string the email address together.

Anyway Swan, great read much appreciated and it is online now in the articles section.

If you have a certain part of the story that you would like quoted as per the format of Ron’s excellent articles, then let me know. Also happy to add in pictures.

Once again sorry for missing this!

Mike.

Ok thanks Mike, yeh i sent two PMs and an email with an attachment, anyway its up now so thats great, i am now seeking Tony Solin as my next subject, he is married into a friend of the family so shoulldnt be an issue

Fantastic, beautifully done and a big thanks to swandog for the time and effort given. Used to love watching Kevin Taylor play for old easts in his heyday so the article gave me an insight into what happened behind the scenes and what happened when squizzy left for south Melbourne, fitzroy, swans and west torrens. Very pleasing to hear Kevin is a family man and enjoying life, is still involved with footy and giving something back at gosnells and has no regrets.
