Round 1 Game against the Eagles they will be unveiling the women’s premiership flag and our men’s one in 2023. The reserves one will be done at another home game, as they won’t be playing that day.

Senior, you should never put “sense” and “WAFC” in the same sentence. It is bad English. 
Very soft start for the Sharkies, they generally lose R1 every year to Peel:)
Thing is Mel, EF are always up at 3/4 time v Peel in round 1, only to get over run in the last stanza. On the flip side, EF always seem to beat Peel the next time they meet, later on in the season…someone else’s problem in round 1 this year.
Just as a quick diversion. I was in Bunnings today and Matt Cassidy saw me wearing a Sharks hat and we ended up having a conversation. What an extremely nice young bloke. Extremely well mannered. His stats look ok too. Hope he gets a gig in the first game so we can see how he goes.

Glad to not be going down to Peel Rd 1 which seemed to have become an unwanted tradition. This year they will be unfurling their so called premiership flag won with a side mostly made up of full time AFL listed players. They should put barf bags on the back of seats down there for that one. Definitely think the fixturing could have come up with a better clash for our first game at the new digs.
Whinnen We have won a couple down at that shit hole. But its good to not have to play them round 1 and we get a home game

Heard a couple minor niggles KC, apparently the squad is pretty healthy over all. Good to see some new names out there, plus some of the regulars suiting up early…most stay incognito till just before the 1st round.
