Promotion v Relegation

Yeesh, what did they get up to?? Can imagine supporters being rowdy for a GF, win or lose, but 100 games of suspensions? Imagine it would have to be an all-in brawl.

Only about 4 cards, death threats from players and spectators towards umpires and officials. I seen the umpires had to be escorted off the ground and to there cars

This sort of behaviour at any footy match deserves this -

What has happened down at Forrestdale??? A heap of players waking out,(including some of there best), and iv just heard today they might not be fielding a 3rds team

Went down to watch Forrestdale v Northam in a scratchy Friday night, Forrestdale looked a new side but held their own and bought it right up to Northam. Word going round that a few boys left to Gosnells with the old league coach after getting good offers and there core group including the 2024 premiership captain have gone to Cockburn lakes. Lakes offering some decent $$.

Bumped into old mate that played there a few seasons back. I wouldn’t say he’s a reliable source but he does still keep in touch with a few of the boys.

In other news the PFL have announced that the fixtures are due to be released this week

No one gets paid Perth Footy League especially C2, its not allowed. Just ask all the A grade and B Grade clubs and the old integrity and new integrity officer.

Hahaha rocks in your head if your thinking that no one is getting paid in any grade. PFL have let this happen for too long

As a Subi fan it is just very annoying that players leave the club for amateurs (PFL) for more money than they can get at WAFL after the club has invested so much for them. I don’t mind them going to the Country leagues as it is more transparent and they are keeping those leagues going but they become mercenaries of the Amateurs dependent on who wants to pay the $$$$ in brown papers bags.

Yes as a Subi fan, it must be very annoying that now the Subi Oval AFL Seat deal is done and dusted that the reduced size of Subiā€˜s brown paper bags is struggling to compete with other clubs brown paper bags.

The Country salary cap is no more transparent than the PFLs - everyone is breaking it whether it’s by $1 or $50k - just like Subi and the WAFL salary cap.

At least the Country and PFL have effective Player Points Systems in place.

Hi Danger,

Subi aside…again its just highlighting the Comical situation that exists in the PFL regarding $$ paid.

The_Professor has nailed it!

And as ive mentioned who is gonna the next club they sacrifice in an effort to ā€˜scare’ the big boys?

This case in particular should be on the PFLs radar given its common knowledge that ex-AFL players such as Swan and Fevola charge clubs big $$ to play a game, which is additional to the fee they charge to speak at a Sportsmans night.

There couldn’t be an easier case for the PFL to prove…

Similar to what Zac Clarke has done for the last 2 years, he has shopped himself around PFL and country leagues for $1000 a game but for a 7 game season. At least 9 A grade teams weren’t interested.

Fixtures are out! 3 team drop to c2!! A bye for c3, swan view back in the comp, Lynwood back with two teams, Maddo drop back to one team, and a new D grade. Far out gee wizz lots to take in.

Subi has never been pinged for salary cap infringements which is more than I can say for every other WAFL club with the exception of Claremont I think.

Ocean Ridge and University play each other twice in consecutive matches in June in the D Grade.
Looking forward to the first southern derby since 2008 when Kelmscott play Armadale in round 1 of the E1 South grade. Maddington are also in the same grade.

Randy did a great job for Subiaco there were never any sudden developments or any unwanted attention
Things just bypassed SFC
