They aren’t playing junior sport amd last tome i checked 19 and 20 is an adult. Do you say the same if they go out to a night club and mouth off and get a wack…
Marah was getting heckled all day so yku want to play with big boys you get treated like one.
I agree MSS63, if you are out there playing regardless of age you are fair game.
I also agree with everyone else, Marsh is a major flog and I hope earlier posts are correct and he is on report.
Agree - if it’s within the rules but getting reported shows the quality of the man. Didn’t know Graylands had a day release program so he can play each week.
Now it’s been explained, it all makes sense to me. He whacked a couple of young blokes behind the play because the poor guy was being “heckled”. Thank you.
Sadly, we allowed ourselves to be intimidated.
It’s a reality check and has come relatively early in the season.
We definitely missed Schlensog.
I was staggered walking around Shark Park how many of our Talls are walking around in moonboots.
It’s a learning curve for our young blokes, and having listened to Stone, I am sure we have the right person to see us through it.
F*****g long drive home.
Apparently he did something similar against Subiaco a couple of weeks ago, attacking a young player. That might be fair enough but I wonder if he will confront Scott Jones when they play EP. I don’t think so.
A classic bully thug.

East Fremantle just too good yesterday. Winners are grinners and for mine they are the best team in the WAFL right now. Murdoch killed us and he would look good in an Eagles jumper. But probably a smart club like Geelong or Hawthorn or Sydney would pick him up in the bargain basement msd.
As an EF supporter recently said the cream always rises to the top and the differences in the quality of the two clubs zones stood out like dogs balls yesterday.
Well that’s the 1/3 mark of the season. 6 of 18 H&A games played.
Every Perth supporter would have gladly taken a 4 and 2 spread sheet.
I have been pretty good at keeping it to one week at a time but will just have a look now at our next block of 4 before another bye.
Peel at home
Claremont away
WC at home (though an away game)
Swans away
Now traditionally we would look at winning 2 of these games.
For me now - any less than 3 wins would be a failure.
Peel and Swans are all over the shop in terms of results.
Yesterday for the Swans was a fantastic result after losing their FF.
I also didn’t expect Peel to beat WP.
Claremont not traveling as well as normal.
WC of course beat South last week.
So no easy games of football.
Johnston and Simpson to return during this time - though probably through the Ressies.
We will know the msd outcome.
Stone will have settled on his best and hopefully let the hangers on know that they are welcome in the Ressies (%160) but they are not in the best 22.
Perth have clearly improved. With ‘big outs’ in Simpson and Schenslog returning they should be more competitive in the return bout! East Freo have to overcome East Perth and South Fremantle in our next two fixtures to gain a better understanding of where we are going this season.
I regard Murdoch as the best mid in the WAFL. He’s one of those annoying players who ducks and gets free kicks, but his running is elite. At age 24, why would the Eagles not go for him rather than Parfitt who is 27?
The games v Peel and WC may be hard. Peel look to be building with more AFL players. Typically if they have more than 10, they are hard to beat. Unlike WCER, the Dockers players who play for Peel are pretty good. We have the added bad luck of drawing the reserves teams when the AFL side has a home game. (WCER, technically, have an away game v NM but it is played in Bunbury) An interstate game means that the sub won’t play WAFL and they usually take an emergency.
The change v Peel are easy: Schlensog and OHB in, Stubbs and TBH out. I would also like to see Thorne in for Kemp, or Simpson if fit - but we shouldn’t rush him. Johnston can’t come back soon enough. He would have been invaluable yesterday. I didn’t like seeing Clarke in the ruck. Johnno has a light frame for rucking, but a good leap and is a lot faster around the ground than other rucks.
Just saw the post about Johnno. Bad news. We may need to grab a ruckman from ammos or from a rival club’s reserves before the cut off. We can’t have a player as important as Clarke getting battered by guys like Strnadica, Jones, Williams.
[quote=“NewRedLeg post=242892 userid=4540”]Johnston back in a moon boot yesterday and believe he has aggravated the old injury. May be a while longer until we see him unfortunately.

[quote=“Mossstreetshark83 post=242870 userid=2549”]You all say he picked on kids 19 and 20.

He wasn’t particularly tough when Nick Robertson gave him a little head butt a couple of seasons ago,Big Jono’s only response, was to throw his hands in the air like an Argentinian soccer player and cry to the Umpy for a free kick, and Robbo continued to niggle and hand out little kidney punches the rest of the day,and the big baby didn’t want to know about it.

Is that the same Robertson that is now forging out a solid reserves career at the Royals RL?
Scoble wouldn’t shake hands with Marsh after the game even with March continuing to persist, normally a fan of that kind of behaviour but it may send him a message!
Perth made plenty of errors yesterday and were undisciplined at times so hopefully they learnt a few lesson. The match officials hada day they’d rather forget too which didn’t help our cause or confidence
Custy, has Simpson ever been an “in” for Perth, talented no doubt, but hardly ever plays sadly…the Slog definitely a missed out for Perth…but a 50 pt out?..naagh don’t think so…Stubbs usually turns up v EF when both sides play…did fudge all surprisingly, and thankfully for EF yesterday…Clarke is a gun…should win the Naylor this year, Perth can’t afford Clarke getting Campylobacter, that’s for sure.
What did the Petth fans think of GGP? Apparently 2K at the groundi yesterday…good crowd, considering the WAFL numbers these days…
