Perth V Swans

the out’s for those three will be Florio, Ali Smith and Ransted.

Hug would be under pressure to retain his spot. but may be due another chance.

Ash Smith??

Depends if Ash Smith gets the call up to the Eagles. Dalziell was subbed off early in the Eagles match wasn’t he? If it’s something that causes him to miss then Smith may come back in. Selwood and Waters are other who are probably ahead of Smith in the Eagles 22.

With the Eagles playing on Monday they might be giving the players like Selwood and Waters the chance to prove their fitness over the weekend if they get selected. So if Smith is an emergency or any of the emergencies for that matter then I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t play in the WAFL over the weekend.

Just have to wait until 4:30pm Friday.

Oh to have a centreline of K. Narkle, L Baker and P Narkle again!!!

I would think that any Eagles’ player who is considered a possibility to play on the Monday won’t be playing WAFL footy this week end.

Yep probably right Swan 42. Lucky for us that’s only Ash Smith. Has played some good games this year but other times gets heaps of the footy but makes poor decisions with it. Will be interesting to see who lines up for EF on Sunday with their contingent of AFL players.

Some good ins for the Dees, including Bateman. Embley out for Swans but Twomey has been named in the squad. I like the fact that Harding is rewarding some guys who have been playing well in the reserves, Cary, Lobb and Broad. Looks like a fine day on saturday, lets hope for a good crowd as its the only game on that day

Yes some good ins and more importantly Ali Smith named. I did hear rumour he was injured so that is good news.

Pretty strong side I think we can do it if the intensity returns.

Still no Tunbridge.

Ali, O’Sullivan & Hodge important for tha around the stoppages.

Go DEES.

We may be able to make a game of it if we can start hitting some targets instead of consistently giving it up to the opposition. Perth still very warm favourites though.

on the Swans website Harding reckons Swans played their best footy of the year in the 1st qtr last week when we kicked 0.2.
Perth better watch out if we produce something similar, we may even kick a goal.

Saw some disturbing things at Joondy last week i hope it was just an abberation and we bounce back this weekend, looking at Swans line up its hard to believe they aren’t firmly intrenched in the top four.

You’re not the only one Peter. Most Swans supporters are shaking their heads as well. Swans seem to have been playing better away from home this year and if we can sort out our disposal efficiency, it could still be a very tight game

Thats the danger Peter a lot of footy teams that are generally classed as a weaker unit like we have been can start a year like a house on fire and just as quickly drop off and struggle to win many more games.

Port Power are finding that out now as are Richmond to a lesser extent.
Some of the better teams in comps take some time in getting going and its around about this time of a footy season that teams get sorted out from best to worst!

Hopefully we can regain the winning momentum this weekend.

Any news on Murray???I see hes not listed at all this weekend.

Perth supporters will start jumping at shadows soon, one week they are hearing whispers hey smoker and the next they are see disturbing images. Must be some of the medication these gullible supporters have been taking. :woohoo:

TV game, a week off after, coming off a loss, Swans in last ditch effort to make something of year. Perth of the last 35 years would fall in one big hole. Will we prevail today?

What does it mean if we do? Nothing.

What does it mean if we don’t? Disappointment.

Do we go to the game scared of a loss?

Do we stay away and pretend were not overly concerned?

Do we save $15 and watch it on TV?

Or

Do we get on some red and black and get along in full voice and full support?

Last option for me.

Stand outs will be McInnes and Reimers - Stack for 10 if he turns on from the start.

GO DEES

I think it’s time McInnes showed he is AFL quality. He showed more last year for me. And Reimers had a genuine stinker last week. We need 22 blokes to contribute like they did against Subi otherwise I’m sure we will get our pants pulled down. Swans will be fired up today so if we don’t come to play we will be back in the pack again and chasing our tails

I’m that confident I’m staying away and not even going to bother to watch it live. I’ll enjoy the win later. Why don’t you put the war paint on Braveheart style and make a lot of noise alongside Homer Simpson in front of the Perth Demons wall? Guaranteed to get your mug on the telly for all to see.

How did you learn how to highlight?

On a serious note Johnno - come to the game and support your club.

Remember the club is not the President, the Coach, the CEO or even the players. It is us the supporters and the people involved along the way, in our case since 1899.

The club needs everyone. The players appreciate our support.

The club certainly cant afford to have long term supporters walk out the door.

BE THERE. F all the differences of opinion.

Business as usual has resumed at Perth, FFS what was Eyers thinking 50 out and blazes away instead of doing the right thing and lowering his eyes and spotting some one on the lead, lucky for him that Murray seems to be a figjam and can’t get a game because he adds nothing to this team imo.

Pretty bad loss considering Swans were down on their knees numerous times through the game, very disappointing.

BABBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

F?cken losers!!!

THE PERTH OF OLD IS BACK!

Can not believe we lost this game. A great captains game by Bevo balanced out by Ash Smith’s turnovers. Do we really have to play this clown?

Really missed Ali Smith’s aggression I think today. Good to catch up with Figgsy after the game though.

I am now a bit nervous and hope the bubble hasn’t burst.
