Perth v Peel (8/8)

We’ll dry our tears with one of our 30 flags. Meanwhile, you guys celebrate finals appearances like you won the World Cup

That elimination final loss last year obviously still stings.

Not everyone, but a few so Bold,we’re doing an awful load of Trashtalkin’ before that Final!

The players probably kept in mind that Half Time Incident in May.

It didn’t blow up thank heavens, but BIG MISTAKE on 2 Counts by over enthusiastic supporters!

They didn’t stand a chance!

Just wondering if any team has had the sme Umpire for 4th,possibly a 5th straight time?!

Be interesting if that happens,……

McCaw, Shelton, Adams and Laycock for us tomorrow Grassy.

Thanks for the info,rednblack.

Forecast change to 12° max now bazz. You going mate? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Luers not playing in the Magoo’s was named in the emergencies for the league. If anyone there can see who’s walking out at half and 3 qtr time of the ressies is Luers among them and who’s out?

Luers among them but cant work out who’s out yet.

3 talls I haven’t seen in the warm up yet are Johnson, Edwards or Dean.

Well if it’s Edwards out who was limping badly last week it should have been JGM in. Thanks RL

How’s Elijah looking?

Scoble cleaned up by #20 who went past the ball to take him out. Doing HIA at the moment I believe.

Can confirm it is Edwards who is out as he is not in the rooms with the rest of the team.

Hopefully Scobes is ok. That obviously rules him out of the last 2 and a final.

Spoke to Scobes at the Qtr time huddle and he has been given the all clear.

Very diappointing result.

In terms of knocking off Peel, yes.

I’d like another go at them, though.

Day wasn’t all doom and gloom,if it was at all.Frustrating in the Arvo, but before that,a pleasure to watch Colts and Ressies Win and Win Well.

For the Colts,it’s an eye to the future of current kids and new ones.

For the Ressies,it’s the immediate future, having Booked a Ticket to the Finals with a Solid Win over 2nd placed Peel.Next two games are a challenge, but Win them and 3rd Spot is not impossible.

Good Footy by both Teams, most pleasing to the Demon eyes Keep it up boys!

If witnesses are still required for MRP’s/Tribunals,it might be difficult either way for him to say,“I can not recall a thing Your Honour”

Moreso,if the Reported one is a mate,…maybe.

:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Not doom and gloom by all means.

I thought we matched them on the day.

Our intensity was first class all day.

Only some skill errors and bad decisions resulting in turnovers were the difference in the end.

I must be one eyed because I thought Harding’s effort against Darcy was first class.

Darcy must have some special rules because I thought kneeing someone in the guts in ruck contest was no longer allowed.

AFL players continue to get treated differently.

Anyway I thought we ran out the game well so our fitness is at a very high level.

I would love to play them in a GF because they are beatable like any other team.

I think we proved that today.

Zac Harding clearly needed help with Edwards out and that help SHOULD HAVE BEEN Jessie Glass-McCasker 198cm not 190cm Luers who got just 2 posessions. I didn’t see the whole game but saw Johnston taking a lot of ruck knocks. We lost this game on Thursday night and that’s 2 weeks in a row our leading goal kicker and prior to today equal leader in the Bernie Naylor has gone goalless. Has the coach not got any ideas how he might get Clarkey into the game that might have won us the last two and be in the race for second spot?

Meanwhile a bloke who can play any position on the ground with over 100 games of experience in the VFL/WAFL is left to rot in the reserves. It’s quite obvious to me different people at the club are not on the same page.

Darcy won the hit outs 56 to 22 to Harding.

Really not sure where the Club is taking this.

I fear we’ll lose him, before he ever gets going.

Zac Harding was very good today. Not sure ruck tap stat’s are all that accurate. Not sure Darcy was that dominant. Zac Harding is fast becoming our number one ruckman.
