Fagan leaving Brisbane, has definitely put a cat amongst the WAFL coaching coop…anyone’s guess where folk will go now…perhaps Billy to Brisbane?
I heard a rumour about Beau Wardman…
Turn it up,….
You running subterfuge with Landsmeer?
Well Perth are looking for a premiership coach I guess mate…
Not Beau,…
Thats a massive move…
Lol…pretty sure Brissie haven’t got a clue who Bill even is…
Monaghan or Broadbridge for me.
Few changes to the team list on the website. R Clarke and Hallett are off the list, and Hill has dropped down to number 71, suggesting he is pending clearance. Disappointing - Clarke is best 23, Hallett showed a bit and is young enough to improve, while Hill would add some depth. Hopefully we can still get Clarke on board. He came to a few games, including Taylor and Byrne’s 150th, so he still has a connection to the club.
Surprising if Hallett’s name is off the list. I heard that it was his parents who were instrumental in moving him from East Perth to Perth.
Hallett off to have a go at punting in the US
We seem to be the place that sends ‘em there,…
Mitch,Max(on origin grounds),Oscar and now Luke.
Is it possible to bypass 3 years of College?
Never looked interested enough for mine.
What do you base that on?
His obvious desire to go punting in the U S of A mate is perfect example of what TFAF is talking about…having a WAFL career means nowt to many a young footballer these days mate…
…any other theories,from TFAF?
I’d like him to answer that one.
What do you mean Grassy. He didn’t look like he had any sort of fire in his belly. End of story.
He was doing well if he broke into the League Team and played on a regular basis.
Got recognition by the Coaches for good games in the Ressies,so he must have done something right.
And he did once, putting the icing on the cake at Home against Claremont, with a Beautiful Torpedo from outside 50,straight through the high diddle, diddle.
Can’t blame a young man trying to look after his future.
WP’s Jasper Scaife received a full ride scholarship to Notre Dame, which includes all tuition fees, housing and meals etc and is worth around $500k over the 4 year degree.
On top of that, College athletes are now remunerated under the NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) Deals. Scaife is already playing in his first year and projected to earn over $150k this seaso
If he goes on to punt in the NFL he’s looking at playing contract of $2-4m per season.
What’s the WAFL average player payment again?
Heck,why not?!
Particularly if he can skip College to do so.
Lord knows what it costs to study anything,if he does.
I’m thinking that scene out of Soul Man,where the fictitious Mark Watson, realising he has to pay for it,after the old man gave him his independence, springs to mind.

I was just wondering if TFAF thought he had an attitude problem?
