The rest of us would get the impression no Sharkie supporter headed down South, for the Season Opener.
It’s a fair bet,the Mason Cox Tribute was penned from Ossie Park.
But did anyone from Shark Park get there?

No doubt a few clubs supporters are already feeling despondent about their clubs 2026 prospects but rain hail or shine Swannies supporters like us Dee supporters always have something to say.
Welcome to our world when you could lock in and predict the top 4 year in year out before the first bounce of the first game.
Sadly even a few Perth regulars have fallen away no doubt age and health plays it part.
You only need to watch the 7Plus telecast to see that there were a considerable number of Sharks supporters there. Thanks to Garth for also organizing a bus for Shark supporters.
Oh,that’s good then.
Did you outnumber the locals?
At the very least, you outnumbered the Purple Shirts there,…..
Yeah Mr P is certainly a passionate EF die hard mate…..reckon EF did well to nearly pinch the game in the last……Smartt certainly looked good….sadly missed a couple of gimmes in the last…..Benning was certainly monstered by Cox, but in Strnadica’s absence, Benning tried his best. Losing Avery early didn’t help EF cause…..but that’s footy. Subi will provide a different challenge for EF this week…..should be a good match.
I didn’t venture down and didn’t hold much hope so was pleasantly surprised with the performance. As mentioned, we gave ourselves a chance to win and fell short against a team that if Fremantle stay healthy should make the 5. Avery injury was a blow and had a new role through the mids. Bailey forward and Mad Dog Marsh at Full Back. Smartt kicked 4 but scoring may be an issue. Strats played 2s but didn’t have an impact- building fitness but wouldn’t surprise to see him come straight back in.
Heard Bill on radio- 12-4 v Peel in his time as coach- all 4 losses on Good Friday with only 1 win. It’s a tough game first up - Subi this week is another huge challenge
Strnadica was on managed minutes, and pulled up well apparently….so wouldn’t surprise to see him back leading the ruck, enabling Benning to go forward or back to provide some height…..
