Osborne Park

Anyone else hearing stuff about Osborne Park lately? Kinda strange they didn’t show up to the PFL awards night.

Heard these whispers too. Looking at their facebook it seems they had all committee members + president, vp, etc leave the club. Poor year on field may be due to off-field issues? Lots of posts really campaigning for people to come down to the AGM.

It has finally come out what has happened. Someone dressed up, I believe, as Epstein and had an ipad on it to portray what is going on with him.

Ossy Park have put their statement up, PFL have released theirs and Stirling council are not willing to sit down at the table it seems.

I know of other leagues that have to deal with these guys (council) and they are not easy to deal with. Cut people off then make them justify why they should be allowed to keep going.

Dressed up as Steven Hawking. Left the wheel chair for cleaners to find with pornhub printout & child faces photo shopped on it.

Where’s high pants with his beloved club? Absolutely disgraceful!

If what I am hearing is true then the club needs to clean house.
no place for that type of behaviour out there

Osborne Park are finished as a club in the Perth Football League. With no home and it appears CoS are unlikely to change their minds it’s all over.
The amount of media coverage who would want to sponsor them in any event.

That’s a great shame. Would hate to see this oval replacing goal posts with soccer and rugby goals.

Other clubs use the oval. Sunday football play all their finals there.

Two year ban for Osborne Park means the end as even after the ban they have lost there home and Stirling won’t give it back to them. Also hard to rebuild after that period too.

Yeah strange they didn’t try to fight it though. Surely as a club you’d want to stay in PFL? Losing the ground isn’t so bad and could be worked through but they got smacked as they chose not to work with the league.

Agreed Henry. Far too tough a ban for mine.

PFL should:

  • Ban the player for a year.
  • Dismiss the board member/members who were there at the time and didn’t call it out
  • Ensure players signing up for 2026 complete a cultural compliance course (online)

Council should:

  • Fine Club $1000 - send this money to victim’s of crime
  • Suspended sentence on use of the facilities.

Too many good people involved with this club over years for it to go down like this.

the problem is the club shut up shop and refused to even answer any questions TFAF so they couldn’t do any of that.

disagree it isnt too tough, they have had more than just this issue over the last few years.
dont want to see a club fold but given they havent done anything to try and work to fix the issues says it was the right punishment.
club was always quick to call out other club for poor behaviour but couldnt control themselves

Nah I can’t agree with you there great man … i think its a bit harsh given what the bloke did although I don’t know any other background issues. If I look at that one issue on its own and compare it to the Grand Final I was at and watched a can of alcohol get thrown from one crowd of people in to the opposition players huddle that was celebrating because their team lost then I know which one is worse in my eyes.

Watched it soar past about 20M in front of me thinking WTAF is going on that this happens in a Grand Final.

For me,

Ridiculously harsh…i would suggest ‘folding’ to public short sighted outrage.
The Club is now doomed because one individual thought it would be a laugh for a “Silly Sunday” FFS!

I’ve been at a Club that was treated even more disgracefully by this ‘lot’

There needs to be a complete and comprehensive assessment of this organisation!
