I know your son plays Saturday I just like stirring you up about not coming to the home of footy in Basso I dont mind Joondalup as it is only 5 minutes from home but Basso & all of the other WAFL venues for that matter are certainly a trek for me but I will always make the effort to support my club wherever they play although Im not sure whether I will bother with the 2 AFL Reserves clubs home games as I dont want to contribute financially to those 2 disgraces ever again!! :sick:

Sth Freo - naturally being an east freo supporter.
Swans - only because more so out of envy. Seem to be the only WAFL club that attracts supporters from “other” zones!! Maybe it stems from the fact that even though they represent the hills etc, they arn’t called Midland, basendean etc… I have known many people that have supported Swans from areas such as Fremantle and Perth etc areas. They aren’t called a suburb like Subi, Claremont etc.. (i don’t count Peel as they are new)
They seem to attract that Nuetral supporter.
I support East Freo, but i am far from Chardonnay. Just grew up in the area, and my parents bought in long before it was Expensive! My dad paid $18500 for a qtr acre block in Bicton back in the seventies. he was a pom who i got him involved in AFL and i always remember him and my late mother getting right into the football as it used to be. I think your way off the mark to say that EF supporters are Rich /chardonney set as most are no doubt oldies…

Mate sorry but east freo are defo a Chardonnay set, always have been , east freo was more expensive part of town from day dot, have a drive around the wood side ward of ef , big stately mansions, nothing to do with pre 70s , have always been the richer middle class team in freo, south being the blue collar lumpers, robbs jetty, workers, and wogs team,
