I’m going along to hang shit on both Peelmantle and Ca$hiaco if they play off but hope Peel win to deny them at their own game, and if South make it I hope they romp it in
The best way to describe his comments are pathetic and insipid. As to the motivation, and not trying to be provocative, I suspect that it is a response to South Freo’s poor support at Fremantle Oval where the Swans’ supporters clearly and significantly outnumbered the South Freo supporters.
Personally I won’t be attending the GF though my preferred winner of the GF is South Fremantle.
With respect to any likely changes that are to be made they will only be cosmetic at best.

In the outer there were more SD supporters than SF obviously (I’d say 3 to 1) but in the members (where all the SFFC members are) you wouldn’t find too many SD supporters mate. I thought SD supporters followed their club in big numbers??? Ames last game!! Thought 5,000 would have been the target there. Maybe it was WP fans who swelled the numbers the week before and not the “black ducks” like most think hmmmm
maybe get some fan friendly facilities instead of the concrete jungle that exists.
week before no AFL footy, fine day and Basso is great for fans in the outer - grass banks, bouncy castles and a great can bar area not to mention the expensive parking that exists at Freo.
hardly a venue that is going to attract families and 50/50 supporters.
Let’s not forget that the SDJFC grand finals were played on Sunday so many supporters and their kids were already committed on the day…such is the wisdom of playing WAFL finals on Sundays
When will this piss ant commission get it through their wafer thin skulls that we’ve had a guts full of their Mandurah farce - high time to fuck them off for good , sick to death of their blatant rorting of our comp
2018 we have only 18 games - this pair AFL arseclowns should be fixtured against each other at least 4 times each season so the REAL WAFL can play fairly against each other more often
Get EP out from under the Eagles then let the eagles have their own team, peel become what they really are, the Freo Thunder, then these 2 abominations can play each other 18 times and the 8 WAFL teams revert back to a 21 game season, 3 rounds of 7 games. You will see an increase in crowds particularly with EP people flocking back to their club, finals will regain their integrity and the AFL teams can coach their players to their hearts content without pharking up any WAFL teams
Southerner agree with the thrust of your post. By the way why do you think that there were significantly more Swans’s supporters at the game on Sunday than South Freo supporters?

Yep without a doubt, it was piss poor turnout 3800 compared to when we played Peel 3400…
And when you consider Subi v Peel could not even pull 3000 for a spot in the GF - 3400 not bad at all.
The numbers across the board show a complete collapse in interest in WAFL due to the alignment and scheduled games , Sundays are not great.
Anyway this is all pretty embarrassing stuff, arguing over crowds of 3000 or so,fact is its SFA either way you look at it.
Family friendly and Bassendean Oval don’t go hand in hand. Perhaps the Manson family.

Yep, looking at the mob of no hopers and deros from Swans attracted to Fremantle last Sunday you really have to wonder what type of element WAFL is left attracting. Its a bit tragic tbh.

I think Sundays is bad bad day for WAFL people, who in the main are traditional Saturday footy goers in the 50 plus age group who have other stuff on Sundays and rather it free, then again don’t forget SDFC had other teams competing.
Its also worth noting in Fremantle on the same day there was a large festival on at St Patricks Church , hence the day time fireworks and a lot of South people tied in with the Italian Community attended that , it happened to also start at 2pm,
every time I go to Fremantle Oval its the land that time forgot with all those old market gardeners with Cicco as the pied piper.
amusing people everywhere.

Instead of this Autistic Like Obsession with the attendance or lack of it last Sunday , perhaps you could make some attempt to stay on topic for once, exactly what has the CEO or the SDFC there of said publicly in relation to the Alignment of late, because as BC said about Subi from what I have seen or heard they have said NOTHING of Late.

Your propensity to resort to personal insults when you have no cogent or credible point to make is quite distressing.
Have to admit I didn’t take a lot of notice on how many suppo’s each club had in attendance - on reflection I’d be fair and say maybe Swans had a couple more around the ground , but that is a usual thing with Swan Districts in my experience along with West Perth

Your propensity to avoid the topic is almost as wacky as your propensity to say the NRL cares about WAFL.
