Haha yeah good. Tilyard vs Kimbo was “entertaining”, Lauryn Eagle won easy & Jezza Allan vs Lovett was a good even fight with Lovett getting the nod…just. Good effort from Jezza who took the fight on late notice & fought up a couple of divisions…

I saw a few news reports leading up to the bout. Mundine seems to be a divisive fellow I thought. He’s reported to have said he didn’t even recognize the national anthem? I think we can do without people like that?
Yeah, he refused to leave the changerooms until the anthem had finished. This also meant Geale had to stay behind since the incumbent is introduced second.
Perhaps he was waiting for God save the queen!!.. ( thats a joke by the way !)
Ah Mr Mundine, its a bit different when you have to fight someone who can actually
box, not like those hand picked has beens or never weres, good to see a bit of class in australian boxing at the moment, that includes in the ring and out of it, now all we can hope for is the useless mundine fades into the background.
PC,I wouldn’t say he copped a hiding.He was well and truly beaten but far from a hiding.
I am glad the Geale won for sure but give Mundine some credit.from what I have seen of it he had his moments.But I just think that Geale was far to aggressive for him.
Maybe now Mundine will see what sort of opponents he should have been fighting all these years.If he had, he may have had some standing world wide.But when you fight bums and mouth off about it lacks credibility and nobody listens.
But lets face it if he hadn’t been a big mouth how many would have noticed the fight was on!!!A lot of what he spruked was really crap.But got headlines.It is a shame he has had to self promote by mouthing off and being a tosser all his career.
