Swedgen, it’s not a happy place of mine.
Watched the ressies, Harding clearly BOG again, Luers, Campbell & Brayshaw all played well.
Wouldve thought Dean who was great again, Constable and Parfitt would all be in the state side??
They had consecutive wins there in 2020 and 2021. Prior to that it was 13 losses in a row dating back to 2010. Overall 24% win record. No wonder you guys hate the place
I have known for 60 years the reason for our lack of success at EF Oval.
Alas a multitude of coaches (with greater knowledge than I) have known better and got sucked in.
EF are very good at bottling you up on the outer wing particularly when you are kicking with the breeze blowing right to left (SWstr).
They always switch to the members wing as they are coming through half back/ centre.
Attacking the goal from the members side you generally have the wind behind you kicking at goal.
But then again what would I know?
Whilst it’s not State of Origin,I can understand if the old Victorian heartstrings are tugging away there,Polkinghorne.
