well here we are for round 1. Tough first up game v SD. Not too sure what to make of EF perforfance v P on Sat. Still reliant on a good selection of AFL listed boys though, not too sure, if any, will be allowed to play on Sat. Still lacking a tall foward though, Perham seemed to struggle, as did Howson, whilst MacDougall is coming off 3 years of ammo footy, thus big ask to step up v the likes of Ames, Simpson, Blight et al. a lot depends on where Young goes I guess, Lammie is coming off a breakout 2012 in the WAFL, Symonds is still young and doesn’t possess the tank Lammie has. Be keen to see Hadley back and also Stephen.
Not too sure what to make of SD, Geappen always gives EF grief, though handy not to have Hansen in their forward line on Sat. Can see strengths and weaknesses for both sides, colts coming off some big scratch match wins, whilst the reserves have had two big wins and one big loss…though Reimers did play for Perths reserves and kicked 7…don’t see a similar sort in SD reserves side…
anyway always good to see who makes which squad…lots of new names and hopefully a lot of familiar names will pop up on Thurs night.

gee I wish EF had a Timmy Geappen…once again the fella is the difference between the two sides…what’s the news on Young?..big loss if he has gone…well done on the colts, Rock…you enjoy it mate…or was a bit too nerve racking for you?..it will only get easier with time mate!!
Freeze, Rock, 58 & co you blokes will be right up there this year dont worry about that ..EF will be a lot better off when stars like Ibbo, Brown get dropped back to the AFL in my honest opinion!
