EF v SD

Gutsy win which was needed.
Teakle was terrific and Eardley first game back across half back was great. Janson 3 goals was invaluable along with Hagan’s 2 whom I’ve been very impressed with.
I thought our midfield were beaten today and the reason why Swans got to a 4 goal lead early in the last. Unfortunately for Swans their best 6 are very good, but their bottom 6 are average.
I did feel sorry for Murdoch who was man handled all day by O’Donohue and should have received even more free kicks than the 5 he did receive. One player was trying to play the game the other had no interest. To give away 6 free kicks of the teams 13 says it all.

Beat Subi next week and we’re well & truly back on track.
Boekhorst first game back in ressies was successful and O’Reilly only needed a half of football to get through before being rested was encouraging.

I went to the game, heart breaking for Swans. EF have an embarrassment of riches (pardon the pun), the only sides really pressing are the Ferals, EF and Peel on their day. It was good to see Jump get another touch up, before the first bounce he gave it to Kolemann for a few minutes and he just took it, didn’t remonstrate at all but bagged 5.

Don’t think Jupp gets to many touch ups Mel, one of the most reliable defenders going around the WAFL…Kohlmann bagged 4 mate, not 5, 3 of those in the 3rd, but none in the last and missed a gettable chance in the 4th, to put SD up by 22 pts, before EF kicked the last 3 to win the game. Kohlmann is a good strong forward and kicks goals on most of the comps FB.

Freeze, he got beaten by Truscoe the previous game, thats 2 in a row. Sorry, Kohlmann did kick a measly 4 goals, I stand corrected.

Yeah I can see why you thought Kohlmann kicked a bag of 5 instead of 4 Mel…I reckon every SD fan and Southy, wished Leigh had kicked 5 instead of 4…sadly not to be.
