I thought we should get the ball rolling on this very important game, instead of basking in one of the clubs greatest wins at the thunder dome.
This week I am feeling pretty good about getting the chocolates against a disappointing It’s Only outfit for 2013.
Stack should make his way back to the league to boost the forward line. Fingers crossed Busher Reamers Boyle all make a return to the league. Houghton must be close to a league birth his voice and closing speed adds a bit of versatility to his inclusion. Hunt has a crack but seem to have trouble hitting the side of a barn which has plagued the bloke for awhile.
The negatives is the kennel factor. Nightmare Rd 2 , 2012 demons up by 50 odd points early in the last with heir hands fairly wrapped tight around it only to lose grip and leak 10 goals in about 20 to 25 minutes. That is roughly 1 goal every 2 minutes. Went home in a state of horror.
Rd 20 let the Its Only kick 6 in the last to cruise to a comfortable win .
Time for redemption boys a lot riding of this one, go get them :woohoo:
Heard a whisper that WC want Mcinnes as a ruck man, I would say that the wHisperer is part of the new policy Leedy that seems to have slip past the drag net. McInnes is best suited to the forward line. Who is the ruck coach at the moment boys, anyone of note or McMahon ?
Without getting ahead of myself as things stand at the moment we should beat SF and Claremont should beat EF. If this happens the Demons go 2 games clear of 6th position on the ladder. That’s obviously in a perfect world.
Still a lot to be decided yet. Jacobs, Leyendekkers, Stack, Johnson and possibly Reimers and Ash Smith all available for selection so that could be interesting. Who do you drop as I thing all our inclusions apart from Deaves played well last week. Deaves might get another run at it though to see if he can improve from the week before.
Mitch Banner, Ryan Cook, Sean Tighe and Alex Grima are all very good players and will need to have limited to zero influence on the game.
On a side not, how well is Brett Hodge playing this year. I would have him leading our B&F at this stage of the season.

Being 2 games clear of 6th doesnt keep us in the 4!!!
We want to be 2 games clear of 5th!!!
Bottom line is,if we lose to South and Swans beat West Perth we will not be in the 4 come Saturday night.
Peel’s side on paper was pretty ordinary. Holmes had been dropped. Thornton was injured and they had Taberner, Crozier and Sheridan all either playing for or held back by Fremantle. Having said that we were also undermanned so I think it evened out in the end. Possible ins this week could be Stack, Boyle, Busher, Jacobs , Reimers (if fit)and even Johnston and Ash Smith ???
A few possibilities to be dropped would be Deaves, Hug, Ranstead, Hunt and maybe Mather but he would be very unlucky.
Don’t get to cocky will u…I would hate 4 u to end up with shit, sorry egg on ur face come Saturday night…

We aren’t getting cocky. The stupid heading for this thread was started by that clown Before the Bounce. He is someone with an axe to grind with Perth. Astro predicted a 60 point Perth win but I don’t think he’s a Perth supporter either. I think it will be a close game (most of ours are) and SF will be hard to beat on their home ground, especially if they get Cook and McCarrey back and retain Hams.
I doubt whether Hug will keep his spot. It depends on how many are available to come back in. Chrimes may get an opportunity later in the season but only if we get more injuries or our season turns sour. If that happens they may want to have a look at him at league level.

The only shit my furry flea infested mangy mutt is between your floppy fly blown ears! Get back in your kennel before the demons express turns you into dog meat!
Regardless of where these two teams are on the ladder it will be a hard game. However of the Demons are serious about staying in contention for a finals spot and not dropping back in the pack, then it is a game they must win.

Easy cesspit no need for names. Axe to grind, you must be old school, I prefer my chainsaw which is quick and easier. What is stupid about the heading as I have heard the Mighty Bullsdogs referred to on this very forum as It’s Only, as iff the demons are now world beaters. Enough of the insults and stay on topic.
Congrats to Billings Mk2 god knows WC could done with some roughness.
30plus I was wondering about Mr AFL prediction myself, considering the ducks are right on our hammer is 5th position. Our only saving grace is we have had a soft draw. :woohoo:
Real danger game this week! The doggies will be rekon they have an opportunity for a real upset here! With those set to come in we should get this job done and is a big want for the team to get two in a row!
The Dees have some unfinished business from previous big loss at freo so they should use that memory as motivation to absolutely smash them through the bottom of ladder! However if we loose this one we are in real strife for the remainder of the season

To explain my point I’ll use the ladder after round 12. Teams in 3-6 on the table were all on 20 points with Swan Districts in 7th on 16 points. With the ladder like this one week you could be 3rd then then next you could be 6th.
Whilst I know that only the top four play finals I was just stating how important that this game is on the weekend. Because if and that is still a massive if, we potentially beat SF this weekend and the other results go the way they should then we hopefully will be 2 games clear and putting some distance, albeit not a lot between us and the other teams below us.
Although much can happen at this early stage I would imagine it most likely that Tiggers, WP and East Perth should be in for the finals with Perth and SD fighting it out for a spot and EF and Subi trying their guts out to sneak in ???
Exactly right Chopper in regards to the fact there are still 8-9 games left for very team and that a lot could still happen. Hence every team has to rock up on the day and play good hard footy and hopefully they can get the 4 points at the end of the game.
Hence why if you are able to put some games on the teams around you then this can help as well.
