Just starting this thread about country league history.

Like the WAAFL on the other thread, I am also having some issues that vary across the state. The most recent ones are from the north of the state not suprisingly, with leagues like Central Kimberley, Fortescue and Newman causing me issues. In fact the only one where I haven’t had issues with in that neck of the woods has been North Pilbara!

Elsewhere in the state the most recent issue I have is with Central Wheatbelt in 2000.

I’m coming to Perth in March to try and clean up some nagging issues with the Hills FA and with Ravensthorpe, as well as (as a long shot) scour the country editions of the West Australian for some other stuff I’m missing.

Didn’t have much luck on my visit. I have two years still to check for the News of the North supplement, and I had some problems with the country editions of the West Australian. It looks like either the country edition wasn’t microfilmed until the 60’s or the coverage was nowhere near what it is now. I did fix some of Ravensthorpe but I’m still missing a lot.
