How many young players, like JFM, and CC would have said, or have said, Hey, hang on selectors, I am just not up to this level … yet.Can you leave me out!

Why would they throw him to the lions and have him open!
To me, once agin shows that the Big Bash is not a breeding ground for our future players.It is several layers below even the IPL, and evenmore so at International level.
I hope the selectors have spoken to and apologised to the young man.
I hope he can get his confidence back quickly.
