The Balla v Dianella match was actually called off at half time due to a brawl at the end of the second qtr. Although the fighting was pretty nasty, there wasn’t much hostility post match.
Ellenbrook v Nollamara game ended controversially when the non controlling visiting umpire called a free kick from 70 metres away and then gave a 50 giving The Cougars a shot from the goal square when the siren went.

Interesting day at Kingfisher yesterday with 3 games scheduled and only getting 1 and a half in. Colts was called off due to the city of Swan deciding to mow the oval Saturday morning and failed to clean up any of the clippings. Was quite amusing watching players and staff from both clubs with leaf blowers and rakes working away to get the ground up to scratch.
Ressies was a pretty tight contest from what I saw with Dianella getting up by about 3 goals I think. The league game was heading towards being a good tight slog, with both teams controlling play at different stages, before being called off at half time.
Why was the league called off helmet?

Must have been a ripping fight for the game to be called off? Was there any reports?
Was involved in one with Dianella Morley back in 2002 which involved both benches as well as spectators and the game continued after a couple Red Cards were issued.
What is the outcome with regard to the result? Will it be a draw? Or will the Ammos investigate and the instigator be responsible for their team losing? Or if it is found that both teams were at fault, does no one get the points?
Apart from that some interesting results, With Nollamara beating Ellenbrook in the league but getting pumped in the 2’s. Noranda appear to be continuing their good form in both league and ressies.
Be interested to hear people’s reports from these games?

Mixed day at coolamon for the eels , the ressies won probably the most one sided game in the clubs history by 220 odd point to nil , with our FF bagging 13.1 for the day ! The league game had a similar trend for ellenbrook from the precious game , when nolla kicked 4 of the first 5 of the game to open a break , ellenbrook wrestled control back for the next few qtrs and held a 2 goal break mid way in the last term , but nolla kept pushing ! They got one back , and although some say maybe controversial , we’re given a 50 on the siren to put them in he goal square to kick the winning goal for a 2 point result! Ellenbrook moves on to next week and our annual Anzac memorial game !

Well the league are doing a major investigation into this game
By all reports especially looking deeply into Dianella morleys conduct which yet again after several complaints and many issues over now a number of years I think the league are feed up
They seem to have not solved anything there in terms of discipline

At the end of it all football is the loser when things like this happen unfortunetly as its not a great look for our great game
My knowledge from the leagues general manager Geoff palmer is that balls have been handed the 4 points as they were in front at the time
Where a match is abandoned or terminated before the scheduled end or the result of the match is in dispute, the General Manager at his absolute discretion may determine the result or order the match be replayed at such time and place as he sees fit.
