C2., Round 17

Balla also did me dirty and couldn’t complete a fairytale ending going down to a hungry basso.

Valley big win over cott. Kingsley too good for Canning. Belmont gave Gossy a smacking. While Piara flexed some more with a win over Canning Vale. I actually caught the second half of this game, it was only 20 points in it for the start of the third. Canning vale started strong and kicked the first two but piara seemed to settle and take back control kicking the next couple. Piara very skill full by foot and definitely like the change the angles including going wide with it. The game started to feel like football ping pong for a bit going back a forward canning vale throwing everything at it but Piara simply too good, number two for piara dominating the midfield battle and all one way traffic in the last quarter.

GOTR…. Valley simply needs to bring that form from last week to Clifton. Canning vale will be know doubt dirty for their performance last week and look to get back on the winners list. Valley needs to throw everything at this for a chance at fifth.

Canning vale by 3 goals

This will get nasty. Belmont to win over cott by 9 goals

Should be a good match up with these two. Plenty of history from the old Sunday league days. Last time they met canning got up by over ten goals. Can Gossy really stand up and put some pride and effort back in. Canning also hungry for fifth spot. Canning by 5 goals

Kingsley by a lot over Basso. Ouch.

Balla had a couple of good weeks got some wins on the board and then the wheels fell off the bus. Piara are not going to lay down and make this any easier that’s for sure.

Piara Waters by 9 goals

Good luck everyone

I’m not sure if I can do a write up for next week at this stage as I’m on the road for work. I’ll see how I go.

second last round and the only spot up for grabs is 5th between Canning and Valley. Piara win this week and they have sewn up top spot. Kingsley could steal it off them but have 2nd sewn up regardless. Canning Vale need 1 win to seal 3rd out of the last 2. Belmont have 4th sewn up but could take 3rd if the Cougars faulter and lose both games. Canning can’t afford to lose one and play Gozzie then Belmont. Valley have Canning Vale and Basso to finish and need to win both to keep 5th although 1 could do it if Canning lose next week. Rest are just going to enjoy the last 2 weeks and see if they can upset the top 5 heading in to the end of the season.

Canning Vale Vs Swan Valley - GOTR - So much to play for here for both clubs. Valley are more up and down more than a whores drawers! One week red hot, next week go cold in 1 quarter and lose. If they are hot they will run over Canning Vale but if they sleep for a quarter the all conquering Cougars will have them. Hoping we get the job done by 5 goals.

Cottesloe Vs Belmont - Belmont and eyeing off 3rd if Cougars lose but have a hefty percentage to make up so they need to win big here by 10 goals to try and sneak in to the top 3 and have a double chance.

Canning Vs Gosnells - Canning in a canter here

Bassendean Vs Kingsley - Kingsley by 10 goals

Piara Waters Vs Ballajura - Which Royals team will show up this week? Poor showing last week and now take on ladder leading Falcons. Falcons won’t lose but the question is by how much. Hopefully Balla make a game of it. 8 goals Falcons.

Good luck all and enjoy the frothies

Well! The fairy tale down at Balla was absolutely destroyed on the weekend …. 157 point loss to The Falcons … What in the blue f*ck is that?? Valley should have been up by 5-6 goals at 3/4 time and in a goal fest last quarter The Cougars kicked 8 to take the win by 36 points. Bombers by just 4 points over Roosters? Did they rest a few expecting an easy win? Complacency? Tigers by 105 over The Hawks and Kats by 35 over The Swans.

The ladder with 1 round to go.

Piara have taken the minor premiership and deservedly so and no matter what Kingsley can’t catch them.

Kingsley have a home final and 2 chances sewn up in 2nd spot.

Canning Vale play Balla so they have 3rd and a double chance sewn up.

Belmont have a home final and 4th sewn up.

Canning/Valley - down to the last round for 5th spot. Canning have to beat Belmont to seal it and Valley have to beat Basso and Canning lose to take 5th spot.

Balla and Basso are going to get relegated but if Basso win they won’t get the spoon and also finishing 9th can also mean not being relegated most years as well.

What’s going on a Basso?

A Grade in 2022 to C3 in 2027 - would have to be one of the biggest and quickest drops in PFL history?

Maddington must have been close!

Didnt they fold to one team then fold altogether?

You do wonder though are Basso paying the price for going all in on A grade and not keeping the “Club players that play every week in any grade happy? No facts behind my comments just my brain going down the drainpipe

3 but got colts back I believe

thirds, ladies and colts in the same year or very close to.
