what happen to North Freo ?
justgetakick, Ive only seen two of them play this year so far in West Coast & Scarborough! Both teams look pretty good, with quick ball movement and key forwards. Kalamunda still the one to beat I feel. Saw North Freo a few weeks back and they did not really play as a team. A lot of names but still need to play as a team to win. Time will tell if they can get that part right.. Still think B Grade will be alot closer year then people thought at the start..
I think anyone of maybe 6 clubs can win it.
Kalamunda have to be early favourites along with Scarbs, having said that Willo gave them a run and BCL were about to take will to the cleaners.
Anyone of
Kalamunda
Scarbs
Wembly
WCC
BCL
Could win it…
Then there is NF 0-4 could easily be 0-5 after the weekend and still have not played kalamunda. So they could be at best 3-6 after 9… I think they will at some point make a run and if they finish in the 5 would not be a side you want to face!
I think it’s all over for HW and Stirling have a battle on there hands to stay up!
In regards to Willo. After seeing two of there early season games I thought they would challenge, however after heading down to Beasley and seeing how BCL ran all over them kicking 9 straight from late in the first I’m not sure were I sit with them.
I’m going to head down to watch what I think will be match of the round in WCC & BCL. Winner goes to 4-1.
I haven’t seen WCC so will be interested to see them. Only got to catch 2qtrs of BCL (as the game got called off) so will be interested to see how they go against a quality B grade outfit!
Pretty quiet on the b grade side of things would be good to get a bit more banter/game reports
FINALLY! The B Grade forum is awake for season 2013
The fist has been waiting to spurt into some competition, agree with most the things mentioned above, good to see no clowns on the forum yet either.
For me, Kalamunda and Scarborough have not surprised me at all, i fully expect these 2 sides to be the last 2 teams standing come the end of the year, 3-7 is certaintly wide open though. Stirling and the High Wycombe boys may be in for a long year, dont worry about north freo either they will come and come strong from the mid part of the season other wise a lot of big names wasted a season.
Wembley, Hamersley and West coast are probably the early picks to round out the 5 and have always been quality sides. Have started the season as expected and will well be in the hunt.
As billy mentioned Bull Creek and willetton, have surprised me, contrast the 2 C grade grand finalists from last year, Wycombe havent fired a shot and im not sure they will all year, Bull Creek managed to a resectable start although 2 wins against relegation prospects, interesting to see them take a hold of willo. If they can beat WCC this week i see them as a chance to finish 3-5 this year. Contrast that with wycombe and they seem to think b grade will just happen for them, big losses early, wolfy still running around for them and havent come close as yet.
Willetton in fairness shouldnt even be in B Grade this year and have taken some scalps early, great to see them turn around their form from last year but its early days. If they can claim a scalp in wembley this week they may well be the goods this year.
Expect the big dogs Scabs and Kala to keep rolling with quality recruits over the years, the goal kicking machine Smailes up forward for scabs and the general armstrong in the guts for kala.
Bring on this weeks fixtures.
You’ve just been fisted!
Billy are you from willetton at all? would like to hear the willo perspective on what happened in the creek willo game, seems to be an incident no one wants to see at any ammo game, unexpected especially in B Grade footy
Nah mate. No envolement with either club. From what I took from it they were very dissapointed in the actions of the particular player involved.
I have not seen or heard anything from the WAAFL. Surely this guy will be made an example of?
fair call, completley agree, cant set a precedent for guys running on the ground and not being reprimanded severely could have been a nasty incident
Yes I just hope Willo do the right thing and take some action internally.
After all the games been called this year I honestly think this guy will be lucky to play another game of football this year. I believe he has had some incidents in the past as a water boy. Would not suprise me if he is deregistered from the WAAFL.
Time will tell.
Had a chat today to a guy who was at the WCC v Scarborough game on the weekend. Said it was a great game with both teams attaching the contest pretty hard. WCC had a couple go to hospital in the second half though some big clashes in the contested ball. Also Scarborough had two sent off with yellow cards for different little spot fires on the day..With WCC in the end answering every challenge after half time thrown at them by scarbs to run out winners by 28 points on Scarbs home ground! WCC must have improved with scarbs getting hold of them in both games last year..Anyone know how Wembley, Hamersley and some others are playing at present?

BCL are well known for their cheap shots on the field thats possibly what started it.
Watch BCL and Wilo a bit as I live semi local. Never really seen behavior like that from either club. Big call from you dog… However if you have experienced it first hand I guess I can’t argue as I only se a handful of game each year.
Anyways
Pretty excited for the weekend.
NF v Scarbs - Scarbs 5 goals
WCC v BCL - WCC 2 goals
WILLO v WEM - WEM 5 goals
All should be crackers might give us an idea of we’re Willo/BCL really are. If NF go down its 0-5 a long way back from there… If it goes the way I pick it the top 4 will be pretty clear and Willo, BCL, NF will battle out for 5th
STIRLING v HC should be interesting. Neither team has been convincing thus far maybe a game which will hold importance come seasons end.
HC 1 goal
In the other game kalamunda and HW meet in the battle of the hill, HW bound for c grade.
KAL 10000+
Good insight there Billy!
I’m loving the look of the B Grade comp this year, looks to be a cracking battle for the top 5 and you would expect NF to come hard at some stage.
Would love some information as to what on earth is going on down at the Gil. Surely such a proud club would be worried how they are traveling at this point in the season. Massive game this week, could be curtains if they lose this one.
Fortuantly for the Maggies, there are two inferior teams in Stirling and Wycombe who look a long way off the mark. Would expect Stirling to register their first win for the season and put the pressure back onto the Pies.
Coast to Coast, that is a fair effort from WCC if the report is accurate!
As for the Willo incident, sounds like an isolated thing from a knob jockey who has a history of doing a similar thing. Willo should do the right thing and cut that dead wood from their club.
I see that North Freo are yet to win a game.
Would have to be worrying to be 0-5
Surely this week is the week for north freo to get there season started!
Saw them play last week and was disappointed. Their big named recruits in Monteath and Caputi struggled. However Seigert and possibly Pirratina back in the team will change things.
What are peoples thoughts on this weekends games, should be a few good tight games, surely NF can break the duck! If not all hell will break loose down at gil fraser
Caputi played last year.
Am wondering if the “stars” are just playing for themselves and the paychecks rather than for team glory and getting back to A Grade.
Some good games this week:
Hopefully BCL make up for last weeks blip against WCC and should be a good match up against Scabs
Hamersley Carine should account for Willetton
Wembley and WCC will be MOTR
Kala will win easily
And North Freo to break their duck
NF v HW - NF to win and get on the board for 2013
Kala v Stirling - Kala by ten goals plus
Wembley v WCC - Game of the round with both teams able to win it.. WCC by 2 goals
HC v Willetton - HC by a kick
BCL v Scarbs - Scarbs easy by 6 goals plus
Kala still looking the goods and will be hard to beat this year..
NF to beat HW - 6/7 goals
Kala to beat starlings - 15 goals
Wembley over WCC - 5 goals
Willetton to beat HC - 2 goals
Scabs to account for BCL by 3/4 goals
NF finally on the board. They would just be happy to get the 4 points. Our first draw in B Grade for the year with BCL and Scarbs unable to be split at full time. Must have been a good game, can anyone comment on the game?. WCC accounting for Wembley by 100 points, what happened there?? Must have been very one sided. Kala still on the march and HC getting home for the four points. Big week next week between Scarbs v Wembley now!!
