Albo and Chalmers Tax Lie

Well there you have it, promised time and time again they would not bring back Shorten NG and CGT changes…and there you have it just like that they bring them in and shaft voters that trusted them.

More Tax is all Labor know.

They hate the rich while pretending to love the poor.

When you see the Hammer and Sickle MELT from various Certain press, the Government must be onto something.

Labor just going back to old policies that have failed previously!

Hawke Keating abolished negative gearing in the late 80s, investors withdrew from the property market and invested into other areas and rental prices soared. Lasted two years before they fell on their sword and reintroduced negative gearing again.

Reactionary policy that doesn’t fix the problem being supply on houses versus population growth and will stop the the majority under 40s climbing the wealth ladder.

Nothing to see here. Redistribution of wealth is the socialist way. We’ll all be wearing grey tunics and reciting phrases from the Little Red Book next.

Its no worse than John Howard saying WorkChoices was dead, buried and cremated until the Liberals won both the lower house and Senate at the next election after making that statement. Once the results were in, Howard couldnt wait to bring the legislation knowing he had the majority in both houses of parliament.

Does it redistribute wealth?

Plenty of well respected finance experts arguing it’s going to set the Under 40s back even further financially in the short and long term

Funny that I watched tonight and many said it was overdue and may have been too late. But then I guess that all depends on which platform you watch or hear.

So funny.

Or they didn’t go far enough.

All the Labor apparatchiks moan at Bernard Keane when he’s on their case!

:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I don’t have a problem with Albo and Snake changing direction on this, but it has to be for the right reasons and make a positive difference.

I’m not sure that’s going to happen and will more than likely drive up rental charges with less supply whilst not actually doing anything to help kids buy their first home. Someone on a low income won’t be able to afford to rent or buy a home.

I’ll just up the rent on my investment property as many others will and when they ask why , i will just say ask Albo.

What a peanut of a pm , what is it 2400 immigrants a day yeah penalising retiree’s will fix the problem , penalise the people that have paid taxes all their life and saved money so they don’t have to leach off the government what a socialist flog.

What is this load of rubbish these peanuts are penalising people that have paid taxes all their life because these mongrels can’t control inflation and the housing market it’s one big tax grab, and you bring up rubbish that happened in the past, this gutless government was to weak to bring it up before the election.

Must bevhurting to knos thatvthe Liarberals are not good money managers.

Ten years of Liars without a housing Ministef.

Tut tut.

How many interest rate rises under Albo and Chalmers Einstein , with at least three more to come you make yourself look stupider with every post, and why are you bringing up the past the Libs aren’t the ones penalising the hard working people of this country who subsidise the dole bludgers and the self entitled young generation who think they deserve everything giving to them on a plate.

Lets see if you can post a reply without blaming everyone else.

You are sounding very familiar. But aren’t you doing exactly the same, blaming someone else for the sheeit your mob left behind.

But you always make me laugh.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I won’t blame any particular person or side of politics, but Australia is affected by so many financial and economic influences outside of our control that inflation is very hard to contain. There is one thing that continues to perplex me and that is how many folk are still travelling, going out for meals, spending on big (price and size) household items when they tell us that there is a financial problem in the community. Interest rate hikes do not seem to be having the desired effect with many people or are they just increasing their debt - “ As of 2024, the total amount owed by Aussie households exceeds 110% of GDP. Australia used to be one of the most conservative developed nations when it comes to debt, but now has one of the highest national debt-to-income ratios.”

That is an issue for individuals but the country as a whole

The sad thing is that the Libs crash and burn gives the lying incompetents enough blind sheep in the paddock to get another three years.
