A shellacking.

We were battered and beaten after the belting Saturday night.
They were very much in charge right from the first bounce.I am not sure if anyone has told our boys or not,but Harry Taylor has re_signed with the Cats.He seemed to have a Purple and white jumper on.We kicked the ball to him so often.
Had a few triers for the night but far too many didn’t put in.One entry into the 50 in the third quarter!!How bad was that?
Crowley pulled Selwoods pants down all night, probably or only four quarter player.Dan Pearce tried hard all night but not his best game. Not sure what was the matter with the usually reliable Luke McPharlin but he had a pretty ordinary night.
I think a lot of our kids were over awed and over powered by the Cats. They tired hard and there were some good signs from them.Taberner and Hannath tried but were just brushed aside.
A disappointing result, but for us to re group against the Saints this weekend.

Just looked like freo were beaten by a better and hungrier side. Pretty hard to take on Geelong after they have come off a loss at their home deck.

Freo are better than a 40 point defeat to Geelong, showed that in last years finals…which they are even better than now. They will bounce back and a top 4 finish is within reach.

Was always going to be hard without Barlow and Mundy

When Crowley & Dawson are your 2 best players then you know you’ve had a tough night.. No Johnson or Chapman for the Cats too..

Lose Spurr before the game as well.Basically lose Johnson and Duffield during the game and Clancee Pearce struggled through most of the night.Another game they would both would have sat it out later in the game.
but all credit to the Cats they killed us.They played it hard on the young fellas as you would expect, but I thought the kids did pretty well.
Maybe Pavlich back this week with Mundy and Barlow so expect something different this week.
