2026 for EP

Almost 26 today.Thought it was a tad warm.

Brayshaw certainly thought it was pretty hot when interviewed at HT

Still don’t understand why the players couldn’t keep their feet and a pretty low skill level

Cheers one.time.only

Just watched the last few minutes and Benny didnt look good at all..hoping stan and peake are ok but I think we can bring up boys to cover them..next Saturday looks wet which will help us royals but it is going to be very hard..angus is still a couple as is stephens and I don’t think kye or wattsy are a chance next week…bring in burgiel to cover peake, delaney for middleton or even walsh if the coach wants to throw something up the dees havent seen

I can’t see EP having any trouble with Perth next Saturday, I hate to say.

A bit like '91 and '97?

Maybe we need to see the tape of when we beat them convincingly on Anzac Day last season. We obviously did a lot right that day.

When we played SF at Fremantle a month ago I noticed a lot of players going to ground too easily, when I walked out at the break its like rolled hard mud up the corridor and flanks, a bit like playing on an ice skating rink in the modern footy boots.

A bit like playing on the old turf wicket that after a bit of rain would bake hard in the sun like a road?

Boys might have gone better in cricket spikes yesterday :joy:

A couple of comments, Souths played out the game and look like winning going into the last quarter but we just got better as the game progressed. Parker, Winder and couple of the boys really put their hearts into the game, you cannot ask for more than that!

As for my team I as always see it a little differently others. I thought Cassidy, Lindberg, Soutar and Peake did a great job which allowed Brayshaw, Tedesco and others to get on top of the souths mids. Thought Raykos did a lot of unheralded things which put pressure on where it was required.

The Jones and Free battle was great but Sebit did enough to challenge Souths second ruck and the mark was just … .

The reserves did the job on the demons and a couple of boys will need to be considered. Delaney/Medhat for Middleton, Kissack for Stan if he is not fit or gets suspended and Walsh for Graham if he is not fit. The trouble then is how do the reserves battle against a very good Swans. intriguing to say the least.

Having a soft spot for Swans,I think your Band of Giants might get this one.

Luckily,it didn’t get shoved to 5.15PM.

You sure don’t like White, have not heard heavy critisim to that degree for the bloke mate, but I respect your views, Dont think he is as bad as the dud Haddow.

Said the same thing during the game, if we snatch it Perth would beat but if EP get through they would do the job v Perth.

2 to 15 mills predicted on Saturday,so they might be reluctant to play the youngster on a slippery track.

Stan Wright out with a hammie for rest of season.

Bad luck for a Well Respected East Perth and WAFL Player.

And a WAFL World Host.

I thought he would be AI

Apparently Stan got 3 weeks for striking as well, but Middleton is not on the injured list.

I’ve just seen highlights of this kid in the reserves, and although I didn’t know he existed until a fortnight ago,we’d be stone bonking crazy to leave him out again.

Watts is the WAFL world host

Stan preceded him.
